Piazza Pet of the Week

Piazza Volkswagen of Langhorne and Piazza Auto Group are showing their appreciation for the Pennsylvania SPCA by sponsoring the Piazza Pet of the Week! Check out the Chris Stigall show each Wednesday at 7:50am on 1210-AM WPHT to hear about the newest Piazza Pet of the Week!

The PSPCA is the second humane organization founded in the United States nearly 150 years ago.  For more information about the PSPCA and adopting an animal - Visit the PSPCA website!

Check out Arrow in the video below. Iris, Pepper, Diva, and Cocoa are also waiting for their forever homes.

 Arrow
Arrow is a a 2 year old Pittie Mix. He was brought to the PSPCA as part of the Richard Lichter Charity for Dogs program. He was pulled from the city shelter in a very skinny state. Arrow was cared for by the shelter hospital staff and recovered beautifully. Arrow is now ready to find his forever family! He hasn't met a person he doesn't like yet, and he is the wiggliest dog on the planet!

 Cocoa
Cocoa is a very youthful 7 year old Pittie Mix. She loves belly rubs, going for walks, and playing with her tennis balls. She likes to catch the balls, but she is not the best at giving them back. Cocoa is dog selective too - she loves some dogs and isn't a fan of others. She likes her own things and can be protective. Her new family should probably be an adult household that can work some more with her. Come and meet Cocoa today!

 Diva
Diva is a wonderful adult female Pit Bull. She loves people! Diva was rescued by the PSPCA's Humane Law Enforcement Team. Diva was not in the best health when she first arrived, but since has been recovering well and showcasing her great personality! She always has a smile on her face and would love to find her forever home!

 Remmy - Adopted!!
Remmy is a two year old Pittie Mix. She is a happy and sweet girl. Remmy is excited to find her forever family! She was found on the street as a stray and brought to the shelter. Remmy can be shy at first, but she warms up quickly. Remmy would love to meet you! Come stop by the PSPCA today!

 Quicksilver - Adopted!!
Quicksilver is a 2 year old hound mix. He is the sweetest boy! Quicksilver is a lovely, calm dog and will make a great addition to any lucky family. He knows many tricks including sit, shake and down. He is also likely house-trained, but as any shelter dog will, he may need a refresher course. Quicksilver is incredibly gentle and loves to cuddle up to his people!

 Butters - Adopted!!
Butters is a sweet and social 7 year old Pittie Mix. He was first adopted back in 2011. Sadly his current owner recently returned him to the shelter because he was moving. Butters is very energetic and he can get a bit too excited. He would best fit in a home with older children for this reason. Butters is waiting on his forever family. Come meet him today!

 Nova - Adopted!!
Nova is a super sweet senior female cat. She is very friendly and has lots of fans at the shelter. Nova loves to be pet and be around her human friends. She is a beautiful 10 year old short-haired gray cat. She is ready to find a loving home. Nova and her feline pals are all $25 off adoption fees this weekend - Feb 4th and Feb 5th only - to support adoption awareness and the fourth annual Kitten Bowl airing during the Super Bowl!

 Skylar - Adopted!!
Skylar is a sweet 1 year old Pittie mix with an adorable baby face. Skylar was abandoned at the shelter one night, probably in the hope that she would find a good home. She is playful and energetic and as many young dogs are, in need of a bit of training. She enjoys cuddling and being pet and chasing after her toys. If you can be the home she is in search of, please visit here at the PSPCA!

   Iris
Iris is a 4 year old Pittie Mix. She is very sweet and energetic. She loves to go for walks with her canine pals. Iris was rescued by the PSPCA's Humane Law Enforcement offices in 2014 and sadly was never adopted. She should be the only pet in the house when she finally finds her forever family. She isn't a fan of cats, but can get along well with other dogs if they are leashed. She is a staff and volunteer favorite, and her fan club would love to see her find her forever home!

Iris is part of the PSPCA's Lonely Hearts Club. Her adoption fee will be waived during the Lonely Hearts Club adoption event running from Feb 12 - 18, 2017!
